Well, you may or may not. Your body right now is undergoing probably the biggest change cycle that it will in your entire life, and doing it super quickly. You may have all those signs of a period and not actually wind up having it for years. Alternatively, you may get it and then skip the next 6 months after.

Truth be told, there's no real way of knowing until it happens. Unfortunately with this subject, there's just too much variance. My advice is to keep a pad with you or something like that, so when it does happen, despite being a little weird, atleast there'll be no embarassment like the horror stories of the girls that aren't ready and have red pants.

Welcome to womanhood, sounds like your little monthly friend is on its way. You are about the right age. Try some Motrin it helps with the cramps. They have stuff like pamprin and midol too, but read the labels you can usually get the same medication in store brand and not pay so much. Also, talk to your mom if you can, that helps too. If you don't or can't find an adult female you trust, to help you out. good luck and feel better.

As a healthcare provider I can tell you that it is possible that your period would start but it is difficult to say. In the beginning periods tend to be irregular and sometimes unusual. It's like your body is 'warming up' and getting used to this whole 'cycle thing'. Sometimes you get no warning symptoms at all and suddenly your period starts. It's just how your body gets used to this.

Sound like the symptoms and you are about the right age! I use to crave choclates and my face would break out just before my peroids.
You should tell Mom or Dad what you are feeling. And if you are about to have a period, Congrats! You have earned 'your wings' or 'pearls'!
Hugs

I got mine at 12 and I remember wanting it so bad but then I got it and said please GOD take it back. But as I got older and it got worse I got on the pill and it made it better. I use to bleed for 2 months at a time and off it for a week and the pills took it down to two weeks eventually and now im down to three days. It can be bad at times but its all about being a woman

There is no way to tell when you will get your first period. All of the things you mentioned are signs of way to many different things and not just periods.

You might. If you think so, tell your mom and she can help by giving you panty liners and pads so you don't mess up your underwear =).
