The ones from year one: Chevy Chase, Dan Aklyroid, Jim Belushi, Jane Curtin, Gilda Radner - and the rest of that year. That cast was sheer genius. The concept was fresh and the member so well blended.
None since have come close to that talent.

Good question!
I hate to be so obvious but I can't get my mind off the original members. They were all so groundbreaking it's hard to top them. But thru the years the show had excellent comedians.
