This would go over better in Mythology and Folklore.
Based on the prevalence of Bigfoot myths around the world, in a bunch of cultures, I'd say there's a better chance of it being true than a lot of other myths. Yeti, Sasquatch, the Abominable Snowman...lots of places have their own version and name for the big guy.
I'd say it's much more likely than most other legends.
But no, I personally haven't seen one.

Yep, I was in the Marine Corps with him. His boots had to be special ordered. They were size 15 1/2.
