he'll be back in 8-12 months and should make a full recovery
he's signed for big money so unless he retires he'll have an opportunity to return
hopfully he uses his downtime to bulk up as he's very injury prone in his curent skinny state
Very lucky he didn't go to college though he would not have been selected with all these injuries then there's the duke factor that would set him back even further

either hes done with this career or Hes proabably going to take a few years before return to his playing state before injuring.. Considering that his a young player, he will most likely return but i bet you he wont 100% be the same player he once was... I ever tore my acl before and even after 8 months, i still feel very sore and a sense of looseness in my knee and i had a lot of muscle wastage although im trying to gain that back...plus he tore almost all of his major knee ligament and broke his bones? if im not wrong...

I got to say that was one of the nastiest injuries I've seen, and this has happened to him before, but I'v got to be optimistic. The trainers, were all saying out for a while, but the media were the ones saying career. I say he's back in a year. He will be slower at first, but he is still very young.

I bet he retires. The freakiest thing about the injury is that it was on an uncontested layup. It just blew up on its own. How can that withstand another NBA season, let alone a career?
He got paid when he came out before college, so he is set for life unless he screws it up.

he will be back probably after next season but i find it hard to believe that he will be everything he was prior to the injury...this is an EXTREMELY serious injury obviously, he dislocated his kneecap and the two dominant bones of his leg, as well as tearing the three dominant ligaments of his knee...that will keep him out more than 8-12 months in my opinion

hes done for at least this season and next. If he is able to rehab he wont be the same player he was at the time of injury.

I think this is it for him. Too serious of a injury regardless of age.
Plus it will take longer than what is being reported.
