I found out about it at work. I needed to find something out and I saw the answers toolbar and I used it. Little did I know it's not to be taken seriously!

My daughter used it for homework once. Then she used it to find a name for our cat. So when I needed to figure out how to open a bottle of soy sauce, I remembered this site, and the rest (including my name) is history.

By accident. I was on Yahoo anyway and I saw the little Yahoo answers dooberry under the search thingy, clicked on it out of curiosity and been stuck here ever since.

True, it is often laden with underage kids asking random silly questions because they have too much time on their hands and too little parental supervision. Tthat said, I find a lot of great information on here and get a lot of valid and considerate answers to my questions. All open forums are susceptible to annoying, preposterous and downright crude stuff, but don't forget about the positive points.

I Yahoo or Google searched a subject & the best results in the hits list were all fom answers. It was the best birthday present ever.

I was on a geneology site and found out about Yahoo 7 by mistake...the best darn mistake I`v made so far this year. Good question.

I used to Google a lot of questions that I had. And sometimes a person on Y/A also had the same question and it provided a link to Y/A. So one day I went to Y/A myself and liked it!

Same way. I was working on my computer and saw the little answers invitation. I truly like it.... being able to converse with people all over the world. Truly amazing !!
