If you found out that an ex-friend who was pregnant by a guy who's cheating on her constantly and she doesn't know it, do you have a moral obligation to let her know?

Say you two have a bad history together and in the past the girl never believed you when you told her important things. Is it worth your time?

If you have bad history you will only create more if you tell her. She won't believe you so this is something that she needs to find out for herself. If you absolutely have to tell her then do it.

Your second part of the question is exactly what I was thinking. I babysat for my highschool English teacher, and her husband took me home. As soon as I got in the car he hit on me, asking if I wanted to stop and ....you know, Of course I said NO and hung onto the door! Anyway I pondered over what he had asked me and thought she wouldn't believe me.
But in the end she did find out he was cheating on her with someone and they divorced.
And we had a good history together! But no, I would say you have no obligation.
Time will take care of the situation. You just sit back. "Give someone enough rope and they usually hang themselves",, as the old saying goes.

Holy sh*t, your avatar is the best yet!!! LOL!!!

I would tell her, and leave it up to her to believe you or not. If she doesn't, you can say, 'Well, keep an eye out, because I tried to warn you." But make sure you're telling out of being concerned and not from spite if you had a bad history.

You owe it to the girl to tell her, because it won't only affect her, it will affect her baby. You should try to tell her, but don't just be like hey your boyfriend's cheating on you. Do it in a sensitive way, and at least give her a chance to hear this before the baby's born, so in case she does believe you she'll have time to do whatever she needs to do.

If you believe that your intervening will help the situation then yes...if it endangers you in anyway...stay out of it. i understand and this is a great question...sometimes people must find out things on their own.....perhaps just being there for a friend is enough...if for ethical reasons you cannot stand the situation then by all means distance yourself from it. please...be careful. things like this can become very messy....be safe...You matter!!!!!

Wow, that's a tuffy! You might want to collect some tangible proof, before you approach her, considering your bad history with each other...Good luck on that, and I think she deserves to know.....
Love the pirate patch, by the way.....
