..OK listen up...i play number 2 WR..at my high school..5' 7..134 pds...i do the 100m, 200, and 400m in track as well...So in one of the games..our nickel corner is injured...and the D.coach grabs me and sticks me in..I had a spectacular game..2 interceptions...i'm good at coverage but not as good in tackling..Now the coach wants me all-time at nickel corner..with a shot at being number 2 corner...
Thing is ..i like being WR 2 ..and the person who will get my spot aint that great...it cud screw the team up..idk..My school goes in the run pass ratio of 60 to 40

do whatever you think will benefit your team the most...if you think it will be more beneficial to play WR and help the offense, you should do that...if you think it would help more to play defense instead, do that...it really depends on your own honest assessment of your team, but i have to say it's nice to see a kid who is already a team player

If I were you I would play both ways. The coach would know best about what is best for the team, so if the new WR #2 isn't producing as expected your coach would probably look to change things around. I would look to play on both sides of the ball which should help your team out the most.
