That in particular is usually distro specific, so head on over to there website and look for Doc.

In general though, if I need Linux Doc I go to the Linux Documentation Project.

Yeah, what they said ^

additionally startx will start Xfree or Xorg but make sure you have configured it with xf86config or first. ctrl-alt-bksp will kill the x server if something really bad has happend.
