For those of us born in this country, and whose ancestors were "brought" here against their will, I will state that since we 'helped' BUILD America, that we are never suprised that this certain race of people continue to hate Black people....
Don't they know that the writing is on the wall...It is not Blacks that are or have ever been your problem.
Slavery was...and whose ancestors made it up that any one race was to dominate....

Remember that most of white America supports what you are saying. Especially the educated. When I come on these boards and read what some racist people say, I can't believe it. I really can't understand why some white people hate black people. I honestly do not get it. Could it be fear? Do they fear that they will have to pay for the sins of their ancestors? Fear and hate seem to go hand-in-hand with the ignorant. But do not groups us all together, please.
I wonder if things will change if Obama becomes our President.
Slavery is still happening, especially to young women trafficked into our country and sold as sex slaves. Hundreds of thousands of them if not more. God bless America. Evil doesn't seem to subside much, does it.
I wonder if that will change if Clinton becomes our President.

I'm not sure I understand your question here, but I think you're trying to imply that slaver was somehow "made up" by any specific race of people and that's not true. The fact of the matter is that nearly every culture in nearly every area of the globe throughout the history of mankind has harbored slavery, including many tribes in Africa.
Next time do a bit more research....

Slavery was an economic problem. If you could have replaced black labor with robots or something, slave owners would have gladly given up their slaves. That said, it still does not excuse the attitude of many white people toward blacks and other minorities. None of my ancestors ever owned a slave of any color, but many of them are racist. And Blacks were not the only people ever held as slaves. Native Americans were once held as slaves and there are still slave markets of different kinds throughout the world. God will sort it all out in the end.

I think we have been quite fair elevating Blacks to positions
of honor in politics, government, colleges, sports, and other professions. They only think of the slave period of time and not
how far they have come in America. They still prefer to be
called African-Americans. I'd say to those who want that
name, to return to your beloved homeland, Africa. We do not
hold anyone here who wants to leave (as other countries do).
I disagree with your "helping build America". Actually, you have
caused many marches, protests, and riots that have almost
brought down America, period. Even your sports figures who
have made a name for themselves can't behave themselves.

sweaty I question whether you really do not know anything thing about inter racial relations. you may have experienced a bit of bigotry. But life and living is a very large subject. people are sometimes selfish, sometimes generous.

Well Ms. Black Know it all, if you know then why are you asking. People are racist because you people wont give up the slavery issue. It was how many years ago? For the people that hate your race it's because you think that we owe you something, you think that we should cater to you and just go with it. Statistically you people drain society, have higher crime rates, speak in ebonics, and I'm one of those people that just really can't stand you.

wasnt slavery along time before the holocaust? jewish people seem to have gotten over that better, and it was alot worse than slavery.
