I voted Republican in the last election to my everlasting shame. I will not make that mistake again.
I have had the time to follow the democratic presidential candidates. Watched the Democratic Pres. debate in Carson City.
I was impressed with Tom Vilsak, but he has withdrawn due to poor funds.
Hillary didn't handle the IRAQ question honestly.
John Edwards sounded good but I queried his website regarding his stance on re-opening an independent investigation into 911. Despite promoting his responsiveness, he evaded my direct question as well as some other who blogged the same question.
Obama is all glim, glam and doesn't rock the boat. He has voted for funding the illegal war in IRAQ, and mirrors a shill for the military industrial complex.
The second to last person in this debate of 7 candidates was Dennis Kucinich a House Rep. from Ohio. I knew zilch about him.
Right off the bat he impressed me with his honesty.
Calling GWB misleading and tricking the world into an illegal war.. He didn't vote to go to war in IRAQ, based upon the information that was given to Congress, he was one of very few.
I am convinced that he has a great grasp on the facts and will be the one qualified to right the ship of the executive branch in Govt. by making elected officials accountable and bringing the real criminals to justice.

Mitt Romney.
He has the right views on what right now is important to keep America rolling. And that is fiscal matters. In MA. he brought a surplus to the budget, which is a great accomplishment. He also made the Salt Lake City Olympics a success when it looked like it would fail. These games brought $100 million for America, after the $300 million spent on secruity.
He is also a good speaker, and a very smart guy. Romney also doesn't have a dark past, as he was never divorced.

I think its a tie between Obama and Gulianni
Obama has the looks, is diverse, lives in the inner city of Chicago, is well educated, well spoken and level headed.
Gulianni is accountable, empowers people, makes good decisions, beleives in being present and up front, can handle a New yawwwkkk,
Hillary is such a fake! And if she cant take care of her husband and keep him satisfied who is to say she can take care of a whole nation!

Obama or Mc Cain, for a fresh look or a feisty old bugger-- at
this point. However, waiting to see if anyone of any party or whatever
that's really worthwhile is gonna run.

I will go with Obama, not because he is colored, but because his ideas are colorful. He knows what he is talking about, and he is not just repeating what the rest are saying. I mean look at his cool page. http://origin.barackobama.com/issues/

Duncan Hunter or Tom Tancredo. We need someone to protect our borders from terrorists and illegal immigrants.

Kucinich. We need a radically liberal president to ensure our civil rights, the most basic quality of America.
