How many innings do you play in Washington (state)? For the pure reason of my new story.

Seven.

National Federation rules prohibit playing fewer innings for the sake of doubleheaders.

In North Carolina, they play seven innings in high school baseball. Sometimes, though, if a double header is played due to a previous rainout, they will have each game be five or six innings so they can squeeze it in, though I do not know if they still allow that anymore.
