You HAVE to use iTunes to transfer files to your iPod. Apple designed it to ONLY work with iTunes for file transfers.

What do you mean iTunes doesn't work? iTunes IS free (the software, not the music it offers for purchase). iPods work on proprietary software, and as such, work best with iTunes. I am not aware of an alternative program.

well all the people that i no have to use itunes then if u have your own music on your computer just import them on to itunes and then update your ipod and then u should have them

Limewire!!!!!!! It's the BEST ever! And it's all free. Kazaa's free too, but it brings viruses. Limewire is 100% legal and it's free. I totally recommend it.

go to www.morpheus.com or get limewire or www.freedownloads.com
if anyone says u must pay dont listen. u can find programs that u can download for free to get free music (steal music)

ues limewire then when it finish downloading drag it to your ipod thing like mine say salena ipod.i dont know what your says but put them where the lines are.

ok. First try limewire but I can warn you that it is illeagel downloading but the ARES software is great

IT ALL FREE!!!
I NEVER USE ITUNES ANYMORE.
