my ex still wants to be with me..we are not living together anymore even though i do come home on onccasions the plans is for us to be together just need to straighten out a few things..
last night he tells me that he is going to Vegas but with his ex because she is paying...lol mind you that she has a man... but he claims its just as friend.. someone please tell me if i was wrong for flipping out on his azz... or am i overreacting....

You are not overreacting. Going on at trip with his ex is a BIG red flag. Looks like she's trying to get her claws into him again. And maybe he is trying to test out the freedom of the "break" you guys are on. If he wants to be with you and you are holding back, he might feel some anger toward you. Maybe he's thinking, "she won't be with me, but she still expects me to act like a good faithful boyfriend/husband" so he's showing you that you can't have it both ways; you need to make a decision. You might want to get together with him and work out the details of how/when you are going to get back together, so that you are both on the same page.

Someone is playing games here. No matter what whether the ex is paying or not he still wants to go or he wouldn't. You can be friends with your ex, but honey if he is going as a friend all the way to Vegas with her you can bet something will happen. Only you can stop the games he is playing with you. He is controlling the situation and you are allowing him too. Let him know in no certain terms either you two are together or not. If you love him then let him know. Don't allow a man to treat you badly. You deserve more.
