Have you ever found yourself talking really loud to someone who can't really speak much english? It's not like talking louder will make them understand you any better, right? But I always seem to do it, and then feel like a retard afterwards.

Not really. I speak to international students all the time(I work at a college). I do find myself having to repeat what I said sometimes. My only problem is that I speak very fast and people who speak English cannot always understand me.

now i bet that wouldn't help at all but it might get this person freaked out and you might not want that instead of talking louder i would talk slower so they understand you and you might still feel like a retard while your talking to them because of how you feel like your talking to a baby but at least you'll be able to have a conversation without them being freaked out or you losing your voice
