It did for me. Even the thought of most foods, especially chicken, made me sick. I actually lost weight the first and part of second trimaster.

It is very common during the first trimester due to morning sickness, but it can also occur later. As the baby grows, there is less room in your stomach. 2 weeks ago, I didn't feel hungry and ended up losing 2 lbs. My doctor advised I try eating frequent, small meals and snack on vegetables and fruits. I'm now 27 weeks and have gained 4 lbs this week, so I'm right back where I should be. Remember to keep yourself hydrated, and if you really can't eat, at least remember to take your vitamins so you'll be getting some form of nutrition. Good luck!

Less definitely so. I didnt want to eat throughout my first term because everything seemed like it was going to come back up. I tried to eat as much as I could though. I am a few weeks into my second term and still dont feel completely great but I am eating better. It all depends on you and dont worry about harming your baby by not eating in the first term its even safe to loose a few pounds because you cant help it but you do need to kick it up a notch when you are in the second term because it will be needing those nutrients more so than in the first.

Yep...specially if you have morning sickness. You can lose your appetite near the end as well...in the last trimester your baby squishes your stomach making you not eat as much in one sitting. Hope this helps

Yes it can. The beginning of my pregnancy I was not hungry at all. Just be careful and do eat because the baby does need some nutrients!

With my first pregnancy I was so so hungry. But for some reason with this pregnancy I am not as hungry and I don't have as many cravings. For me it's because I am nauseas a lot but I have to force myself to eat. Maybe this is the case with you. I force myself to eat. So yeah it does happen during pregnancy.

For me it did. I was so nauseous the first three months I could barely eat anything. Then I would be hungry, smell something that made me sick, and not what to eat anymore.

The doctors say it's normal but be careful. Your baby needs food and energy to grow.

yes - I've lost 3 pounds this week b/c I haven't felt like eating. My doctor assures me this will get better once 2nd trimester arrives.
