Tampons! Playtex ones are really good. They're really easy to use...check out the little paper they give you in the box, it tells you how to put them in.
You'll love them.

I ran track and tampons are much better because wearing a pad would be uncomfortable while running and the best kind would be the new sports tampons.

tampons for sports. but be sure to properly use the right kind of absorbent. TSS is a possible risk if you use the super with a light period not good. use pads when your at home. remember use the right absorbent. there is super, meduim and lights. i recommend Tampax pearl easy to use. p.s. tampons is not supposed to be uncomfortable when inserted correctly. look at the picture on how to. (should be at some angle) and keep a mirror at all times. i have just started using tampons for about five months now. and i'd say its more comfortable than pads.

I stopped answering here. "Periods"
too girlly
but I vote for the tampon !
I saw a girl take a tumble at the finish line, (not used to track shoes, I am sure) but standing up, brushing her self off, SHE leaked. Someone gave her a tee shirt and they walked off.
Tampons For sure... read the information,, talk with mom,, it don't hurt and never be ashamed that your a woman.

TAMPONS! I ran track for 8 years, and trust me, the most embarassing thing you could have happen is a pad falling out while you're running. It's happened to girls on my team...when you move around it comes off easily. Trust me on this, use a tampon you wont even feel it.

i would suggest a tampon, simpy because track requires a lot of movement and a pad will leak. practice putting one in before monday. they have slimfits. ask your mom or someone experienced to show you how to use them if you arent sure, however the tampon box comes with instructions. dont risk using a pad, just try a tampon and see what you think before monday.

Tampon. Pads will chafe you and probable distract you from the jumps. Playtex recreation is okay, yet i think of Tampax Pearl is greater useful. I did consistently used Tampax whilst i grow to be in gymnastics.

Use a tampon. Trust me!
Get a hand mirror, read the instructions in the box and go for it. If it won't come out later, don't panic! That just means it's still dry and not ready to come out. When it's time to change it, you won't have any problems getting it out.

Tampons would be better get the gentle glide brand. If running track you may need the extra protection so I would recommend wearing a pantyliner with a sticky backing also

Pads are easier things to handle. And tampons hurt you and are very uncomfortable. I strongly suggest you use pads. I've tried tampons but they're very irritating and I absolutely hate them and they're not safe! But give both a try and see which works best for you! Goodluck =]
