Yes - believe it or not - they do.
Whales are mammals, and a strong defining characterisitic of mammals is the presence of hair derived from interaction of epidermal and dermal layers of skin. Whales have very little hair of course, but the presence of hair suggests eveidence that whales had distant ancestors from land!
Don't confuse "killer whales" or "pilot whales" as real whales - they belong to the porpoises and dolphin family.

One of the five mammal characteristics is that you have to have hair AT SOME POINT IN YOUR DEVELOPMENT, not all your life. Whales and dolphins are born with a small amount of hair at the tip of their rostrum (chin). This "moustache" falls out either during birth or soon thereafter, within 1.5 weeks. That's why you never see a hairy whale, but they are considered to be mammals!
We're not sure why, scientifically, this is, but it is true!

Like all mammals, whales breathe air into lungs, are warm-blooded, feed their young milk from mammary glands, and have some (although very little) hair.
