Why my removable drive can not autoplay?

Question

Suppose when i plug in my usb removable drive, the windows will detect it and an autoplay will start automatically after few seconds but for me since yesterday it doesn't start. Before yesterday, it did start the autoplay automatically. For information, i didn't modify any system file yesterday. I'd checked the autoplay setting, it is enabled. I even checked the autoplay setting by using powertoy tweakUI, the autoplay setting is enabled. If I try with my another usb removable drive, same problem occurs. How come the autorun do not start itself?

right click on your drive and click properties there are options there

Hi,

Sometimes Windows will not detect the plugin ports.. Its not the OS problem because all operations are based on threads in windows so threads work at certain intervals of time so some times it does not detect but will appear in your "MY COMPUTER"

if it does not appear in "MY COMPUTER" then

do this
go to RUN type cmd

in command prompt type dskchk/f

this will check the entire disk drive for any errors..
