Personal family experience, and now seeing how ugly this life really is for sister now.

She said it was honest ,but my wife and I are raising her son, she been divorced twice papers came today.

her friend wont talk to her for fear that they will be exposed themselves, and loose jobs, insurance, family's.

She's got and feloney conviction now because of this life as well.
She said that at one time she went to a club and was "RAPED"
(her words, not mine) but was told all it was ,is rough sex (ya, right) by husband who gave permission to other men.

Good God Is this a truly honest lifestyle?

I want nothing to do with it and it make my wifes Ill, just thinking about it.

Honesty, Love, Sex, we have come along way to fall so far.
My thoughts alone anyone got anything , anyone at all!

Um. I don't think It's a good way to live. The reason for this is that I've known people who were swingers, I've even looked into it, myself. But, when I actually saw what it was, how it really is....It's really sad. I mean, I felt sorry for the people who were participating. Nobody was really laughing, seeming like they were enjoying anything. It was just sex. That's it. Simply sex, the act of sex. It was bothersome. And, I was uncomfortable with men looking at me like I was just another body to be f*&%#$. There is not other way to describe it. I am grateful that I saw it for what it really was, and chose not to get involved or participate. It would have messed me up, and person I was seeing at the time...well, it didn't work out with us. This was a long time ago. I'm not prudish, far from it...but I didn't like what I saw of this lifestyle at all. I saw men and women trading each other like they were nothing more than beads at Mardi Gras...I saw women having sex with repulsive men because their husbands wanted the guy's wife and vice versa. No body seemed satisfied.
So, No. I don't agree with this lifestyle, based on my own observations.

Swinging can be a safe and fun relationship for a couple who love and respect each other. Both have to be told everything and be in agreement with ALL plans. It's not a lifestyle for everyone, but I do know people who are very happy. They have a stronger marriage than most of the monogamous ones. Like with any choice, there can be repercussions down the road. You'd be surprised at how many celebrities have "open" marriages and are very committed to each other.

It depends on the maturity and compatibility of the couple.

In your sister's case, it seems that she was with men who took advantage of her desire to do anything to make them happy. In the process, she lost herself and the idea of what a healthy relationship is.

And I don't care if a man gives other men "permission" to have sex with his wife, if the wife says NO, well no means no and her ex-husband is as guilty of rape as the guys who actually raped her.

And I agree with a previous poster, once a swinging couple has a kid, it's time to quit the fun and games (at least until the kids are out of college).

i wouldn't let her see her son until she cleans up her act. if her son sees or knows about his mother's lifestyle it will ruin his view on women and cause him to develop trust/relationship issues. my aunt was never a swinger but she's been married/divorced five times and had kid with each man. all the kids are screwed up b/c there was never any stability. i think the swinging lifestyle is fine for couples who have no children but once a child is brought into the world that child should come first over hedonistic needs.

No. I tell lies to my purchasers every time i bypass to artwork, infront of my colleagues and with the certainty and approval of my boss. in case you disapprove then you fairly tell me the thank you to calm an eighty 4 year old widow who's hysterical approximately getting domicile because of the fact she had a splash one the former day and her husband does not be responsive to the thank you to look after it. My reaction to her is that she is staying with us to get properly, she will no longer be any good to the infant if she is going domicile and collapses and that i've got sent a nurse to help her husband.

I'm not one to condone swinging. But it works for some people. I just couldn't trust a marriage/relationship like that. There are too many chances for your partner to lie to you. So in my world swinging is a very bad thing.

I think that people that live this way have serious personal issues that they need to work out in therapy. I also think that some of these people may have personality disorders (ex...bi-polar, ADHD, obsessive compulsive) or sexual disorders & maybe they should be on some type of medication.
