Ah...that brings back a memory! I faked a note, and signed my Uncle's name to it. I told the teacher that my mom couldn't sign it because she's broken her arm.
When I got home from school I asked my mom how her day went, and she said the day was good and that her broken arm was completely healed! BUSTED! Got my butt beat for that one!
I actually had my homework eaten by my pet squirrel...you can't make that stuff up!

uh yeah...
tools of the trade to remember,
use the parent who doesn't write you a note everyday as a signature.
fold it up and smoosh it around in your back pocket before you turn it in.
oh yeah and don't bother trying it if your handwriting is so completely terrible that it can be recognized from 30 paces.

yes trying to clear an absense that was high school 8 years ago. but i couldn't forge the signiture so i just told my parents it was a field trip permission and taped the note on top.

no, I have bad handwriting and no one would have ever believed my mom wrote it....now I am 36 and my handwriting is not much better
