kevin z has the best answer so far, just watch episode 108 and it is a really good compariosn.. however ( spoiler ) sasuke learns how to do a full body chidori instead of just from his hand, where as naruto applies wind manipulation to the rasengan in order to make it a complete jutsu

i would say the rasengan. in episode 105 sasuke merely puts a crack about 1 inch long in the Sword of Raijin with the Chidori. in episode 106, however, naruto uses the rasengan to completely shatter the Sword of Raijin and defeat Aoi in the same blow. Also in episode 108, in the fight on the roof of the hospital between sasuke and naruto. the two attacks hit two seperate water containers, and sasuke's chidori initialy seems to have the most damage, totally rupturing and heavily damaging the tank where he struck it. Whereas the rasengan merely pierced it. However, later you find out that the rasengan blew the back of the tank out, completely overrunning the chidori.

well, I think it's the chidori because chidori , I think is the strongest lightning jutsu there is. The resangan is strong too but not as powerful as the chidori. Plus, when Sasuke and Naruto fight, Sasuke will use the chidori and Orochimaru's power, so resangan don't stand a chance!

Rasengan. In Naruto 2 (sorry this has spoilers) we find out that Rasengan was the fourth's technique and was never completed. So while Chidori s matched good against Rasengan now imagine when Rasengan gets completed. That is what Naruto has been training for, he is going to make Rasengan complete as the 4th wanted to before he died.

both are powerful jutsus and are used differently, a chidori is more of a direct jab but but the rasengan needs to be pushed to get the best results(but the rasengan is stronger)/only sasukes lv 2 cursed seal chidori(flapping thousand birds)could match up to it

In my opinion, both. In one of the episodes Naruto and Sasuke fight. The only reason why Naruto didn't make it out of the fight was because Naruto let some power get out of his Resangan was because Naruto wanted to see if Sasuke would really kill him since they're best friends and stuff... This is my opinion...
