Liberal don't realize that their victory in November was about the Republicans betraying their core constituants rather than a shift in this country to the left. The Republicans didn't learn the lesson of the Dixie Chick, if you tick off your audiance, they won't come to your concerts.

It hasn't changed anything only the name of the majority so we can identify the main thieves. What strikes me immediately about your question, the arrogance in which it is asked, nice. You don't get it either and you are calling others delusional. You support the party that always tells you about their truthfulness while it's obvious at this point the President lied about WMD's, Vice President Cheney lied also in making the case to invade Iraq. Morals, quite a few republicans in the past year and a half going to jail or "retiring" disgraced, all with Ted Haggard's blessings I'm sure, now that he is again completely heterosexual. Responsibility, Mark Foley, swept under the rug, nobody knew anything. President Bush spending billions on war while supporting a North American Union behind our backs. Your party tells you one thing while screwing you up and down, and you cheer their doing it, I will never understand. It doesn't matter which party is where, we are getting screwed by the government and big business. Cheer if you want, I'm pissed. The President is the man with the plan, what he says goes in this fiasco in Iraq, keep cheering as our kids die and our tax dollars are spent on death and destruction, that is if they don't disappear altogether.

so... you're saying it changed nothing?

funny.. I don't see any Republicans easily pushing bills through the house anymore? that, at the very least, seems to have changed? are you aware of what the house does and it's function?

I'll tell you what... keep running elections the way you did for the elections last November, since it didn't mean anything, no need to change, right?... nothing could make me happier...

The Democrats, unlike the GOP, FINALLY provided oversight on the DoD and military wasting 60 billion to Iraq War contractors....countless corruption, abuse, waste and fraud. Don't you want your tax dollars spent wisely?

So, yes a lot has changed and mistakes can FINALLY be corrected.

I havn't seen anything to back up their claim to be the 'most ethical congress ever' or their claim to work together with Republicans for the welfare of the entire Country. I havn't seen anything yet that brings people together.

Blah, blah, blah is all I hear or see so far. same old, same old.

It changed the majority in congress. Considering that only changes ever 12 years or so, it's kinda a big deal.

Yes. In fact, things have changed. Iraq policy, for instance, is now openly debated rather than rubber-stamped. And the president himself has taken a much more conciliatory stance in regard to openness for changing the course of action in Iraq.

To deny that that alone marks a change would truly be delusional.

This just shows the ignorance of republicans. Now go worship your picture of the Bush family and let the adults talk.
