Brown snow in Michigan is caused by trickle down economics, the solid waste generated by Republicans using old style Reaganomics to increase their profit margins at the cost of the general public who live in Michigan. They have been dumping big steaming piles on Michigan for the past 25 years, you must be new to the State.

I'd say it is pollution. You have too many contaminants in the air of your city and maybe they are staying over the city like a cloud and the snow only pulled them down to earth. Like when the rain falls it's full of contaminants flowing around, that is why sometimes there is acid rain and sometimes there's brown snow. I don't think is dust, dust settles down, atmospheric pollutants do not. And global warming is caused by these contaminants, so it is also a sign of global warming.

Yall's brown snow was the result of a dust storm that blew out of Texas and Oklahoma i know about it cause i drove in it. That combined with the moisture in the front that went across Michigan which resulted in mudsnowballs. Just dust no pollution

I don't know but if the snow is falling "brown" then it could be caused by pollution. Detroit is pretty dirty, and to make matters worse, South Central Canada, especially the Toronto-Hamilton area is like Houston for air quality, so some of that could have also made its way into Michigan.

No, the problem is not global warming... it's all the bull sh**t that is being blasted all over the airwaves about global warming.... that's what is coloring the snow brown. And if Gore wants to stop global warming he should quit blowing all that hot air when he talks.
On the other hand, if you live in michingan... well, I definitelly feel sorry for you. No wonder housing is so cheap there. Who the heck wants snow that looks like somebody took a dump in their backyard.

I live in Texas and have it many times . In the dust bowl times a blizzard would blow in and the dust could get so bad that it was dark in the day time . And the rain or snow fell . The rain was mud balls . the snow was very dirty. It is just normal weather.
