i'm white, of course i do. Now, i'm a younger white person and say it often to my younger white friends. i dont say it to people i dont know, family, blacks, etc. you'd be surprised of how often whites mock blacks....or maybe you wouldn't be, i dunno. from my experience there is a big difference from how older whites and younger whites do it. older whites can be very bitter about blacks and not want to be around them. i've found that many new immigrants, like mexicans, asians, arabs, etc. are similar to this. younger whites mock "black" culture. it isn't that they hate blacks or don't want to be near them, younger whites will joking talk with each other in ebonics, joke about having 5 kids to 5 different mothers, etc. i can't count how many times someone has said "muh babies mutha" or other phrases to mock blacks. I'd say that 99% of younger white people make jokes this way, mocking how blacks act and it is not a real fear or hatred of black people as it has been in the past. you decide if that makes it better or worse. I will say, however, that this isn't just a white thing. I have been horrified to hear hispanics, asians, and arabs talk about blacks and i have no idea where this came from. Whites will joke about how black people talk, or how they can't keep a job, etc. but there is a real bitterness in new immigrants....fear too. there is a big difference. I may joke around, but I KNOW that i'm stereotyping in my jokes. i've seen many black people make jokes about whites too and i think this is normal. it doesnt bother me. make jokes and laugh, but don't take it too far. when you start getting bitter and trying to be hurtful instead of funny, things have gone too far.

When someone goes out of there way to look, dress, speak and act like one and even refer to themselves and others as one I have no problem calling them one in public in private wherever, oh and I am white so I guess that makes me racist, calling a duck a duck.
I would call them African Americans but the African immigrants I know are educated, moral, hard working and well spoken.

No. I feel that word is unnecessary. I have honestly never used the -er or the -a version. That's why when White people say, "why can't we use it, when Blacks use it themselves?" I prove that theory WRONG.

Nope. I think it's a really stupid word and has way too much controversy attached to it.
