nforce 680sli boards have gotten a lot of buzz lately but if you're not into gaming then you might want to look into the 965/975 chipset boards. lots of brand options out there to compare depending on what features you like

Depending on what your requirements are for communication speeds and onboard audio/video, I would recommend Intels D946 series of motherboards. If you are working with the Core 2 Duo proc, I'd suggest moving into the DG965 series.

MSI are not as good as they once were. I personally use Asus motherboard. It has many great features and is very overclockable. It really depends how much you want tyo spend. If you have a good AGP video card and don't want to buy a new PCIe card, then go for Asus P5PE-VM. Where are you located? I could possibly help you find a good wholesale outlet to get it from and will be cheaper than paying retail price for it.

MSI and EPOX both make very nice mobo's.
Alist of current hardware your using would help to narrow the search, so you will have to do some digging. Such as do you have a video card, pci, agp, pci express? How much ram do you want to use, how much money do you want to spend, do you want an SLI mother board, are you a gamer......
You could check out an online shop like tiger direct to see whats out there for some ideas.....

Hope you have some luck, maybe you could update the post to include your budget, some hardware your using now, or want to use..... We could help nail this a little better....
