worst case scenario -- new turbo charger?

If I am not mistaken, that car has a supercharger, not a turbocharger. The replacement costs will probably be a little steep, regardless.

You probably aren't going to like this but, I had a turbo replaced on my '94eclipse. It ended up costing me $1850 just for the turbo and that was in '99. Now it is a import car, so it might be cheaper for a domestic, but your car is only 6 years old or so too. I would put a rough guess on the total cost at about $2,200 to maybe 2,500, also with it being a special edition it could go higher. SORRY.

probably a bunch. I would guess 1000- 1700 bucks depending on what they have to do.
