no matter where you stand you still have a 180 degree view. if you spin around long enough to make youself dizzy and disorientated and confused like i am, then stop and face south you should have the sun shining on your face! start walking ahead untill you reach the maridian line 30 degrees south at greenwhich it shouldnt take long as it will still be noon if you leave at noon traveling at light speed.you should try and head se to svalbard norway or sw to jan mayen and look for a ferry because im not sure where the ice begins to thaw. i think you would be ok if you turn east where the sun would shine down your right ear hole untill you reach siberia or alaska by midnight traveling again at light speed .if you turn to your left and face west you might reach greenland by 1am LS leaving at noon. or turn your back on the sun to the north and head for british columbia and the rocky mountains and arive at 2am!

Depends if your standing on the true north or the magnetic north pole.

If you stand exactly on the pole you will always be facing south.

If you stand and look horizontally, which is the usual way to "face", you must be looking south. But you could also face up or down, I suppose.
