Uh, almost nobody. Other than the standard "look, a volcano" type science-fair project made out of baking soda (a carbonate) and vinegar (an acid), and the fact that this is what causes the bubbles in soft-drinks, that reaction is useless. Maybe possibly a materials scientist studying sheet-rock.
