I'm a married christian woman. You are an adult woman not a child. You are capable of being reasoned with words and thought. Your husband should voice his concern for you and your safety but he never should spank you; especially not with a belt. I would fear a man, even if he was my husband, who's first reaction is physical violence when there is a difference of opinion or a perceived recklessness. Your husband is responsible for you but is not your father. I asked my husband what he thought of your husband's behavior and he was shocked. I don't think your marriage is over or anything 5 years is a long time but it sounds like your husband views you as one of the kids. Another irresponsibile child to discipline and control. Drinking and driving is dangerous. I'm sure you know that was a bad decision. You should talk and openly communicate your feelings and thoughts to your husband and insist upon the same from him with out physical violence. It may sound on the surface like discipline with love but I'm not hearing the love. I have had to spank my son when he wasn't capable of understanding my reasons for prohibiting behavior; but he is now 9 and doesn't require spanking anymore. I can communicate with him. There are probably other communication challenges for you two to work on. I would recommend finding someone within the church whom you admire and trust to talk to regarding your communication and marriage.

YES!!! Mine gets it once a month, he has had it now for a week and a half, I am going to stop at CVS on the way home and get him some midol.
What not to say to a man, during PMS......ARE YOU ON YOUR PERIOD?

I know EXACTLY what you are talking about. I'm not married, but each boyfriend I've had I would have swore that their hormones were out of whack once a month like PMS . Wow! all this time I thought it was just me who thought that.

Yup. He beats me to the pout everytime. If we have an arguement, he is the first one to run into the bathroom and lock the door!
