I dont know if a 2000 cavalier has keyless entry installed by the factory as an option.
The newer cavaliers do offer that feature. If your car doesnt have a keyless entry system but has electric locks, you can easly install one yourself.
Read the instructions on the keyless entry set-up unit and the steps listed in the following website should help: http://www.ehow.com/how_2015680_install-keyless-car.html

Yes, the factory did install RKE in this year of car. Not all cars get the option though. If you didn't get any Fobs to run the keyless features it probably isn't equipped. Phone the dealer with your VIN handy and ask them as they can punch up your VIN and tell what it was equipped with.

Call the dealer's parts department and supply them with the VIN...they can tell you if your vehicle is optioned with keyless entry.

that was an option on that car except for the Z24 it was standard equiptment, if you have electric locks there is a posibility that yours has it, take it to the dealer and he should know for sure.
