i just read a really great book (perfect) and it referred to Ex-Lax a lot! wat is it?

in the book they were binging and purging and they took it that's y! ive heard of laxitive by i didnt seem 2 make the connection! sry

Ex-Lax is an over the counter laxative that you can buy in many supermarkets and drugstores. Basically, it causes the bowels to relax and promotes regular bowel movements. Often used in pranks (because it can come as chocolate flavored, and be added to brownies) to cause someone to eat it and get embarassing diarrhea.

Ex-Lax is a stimulant laxative that contains phenolphthalein (or used to anyway) If used to access it can be quite dangerous causing diarrhea and even bleeding.
It might seem to be funny but it is not.

It's a laxative. When used appropriately it will be okay for you if you are constipated. Do not abuse it.

It isn't liquid. It is a chocolated laxative - looks like a candy bar (in its most popular, historical form).
