I don't know if Buffalo hates Hasek because I am not a Sabres fan but I think after so many years there he insisted on being traded because he thought that the organization would never be in the Cup finals again. They were there in '99 but they lost.
Also, Hasek was always seen as a prima donna. I don't know if the fans of Buffalo were irritated by this (at least when the Sabres were winning) but he was rumored to be instrumental in Ted Nolan's firing as head coach. He also had an incident where he started choking a journalist in the locker room.

The uneducated Buffalo fans do...this is coming from a Sabres fan. Hasek helped lead the team to the Cup Finals and put up some great numbers. Hasek also did some really great things for the community around Buffalo, and unless this has changed I believe he still does have a charity in Buffalo? could be wrong but as about a year ago i knew this was true.
He was a great person and player for this city.
Good luck Dominator!!

Hasek had been the netminder for the Sabres, but left the team after their trip to the Stanley Cup trip in 1999. He joined the Red Wings and won the Cup with them in 2001.

don't hate him,he isn't part of the team anymore...he never did anything personally to me so i have no reason to hate him....he did think the world revolved around him though...but then he did good stuff in the community...and he seemes to always injure that groin or knee when he didn't get his way...and from what's been said he did have alot to do with ted nolan being let go as the coach, but other then that he's an ok guy,i guess

Because he walked out on the team during the playoffs, he almost ran over a friend of my girlfriend in his car speeding, he has made comments about how he thought his children were becoming too "Americanized", and the fact he is a prima donna.

I dont hate him, I actually miss the days of the "Dominator". Thats what makes me laugh when these bandwagon fans talk about Miller like he's God, they dont even know. Dom was a God in the Net.

Do they? I'm a Buffalo fan and I still like him, but I could be a minority, I suppose.
As far as why we hate Brett Hull, you probably know.

Ya prefer me to be honest? NO, honestly no longer. i understand i do no longer understand you all that nicely (you realize me from yet another account, digital mail me & i'm going to tell you), yet i've got constantly cherished you. i'm questioning you asked this considering the fact which you're starting to be stated lots at the instant(?). under no circumstances take reporting too heavily. Adults do no longer record. If adults do in comparison to your questions/solutions, adults basically circulate on, so do no longer sweat it individually.
