Truth is that human selfishness rules the world... reality is that politicians are noble and care about the people......

I think the truth and reality are and should be synonymous. What is real is true and vice versa. In the arena of human psychology, people perceive reality differently. So I guess it depends on your use of the term.

Reality is what you think the truth is, whether it is or not!

Your reality should be that not one person in this country knows the truth!

between some people's truth and reality... certainly...

but I think actual truth and reality are the same...

but everyone has their own version of the truth... most reflect more on what they want the world to be than on what the actual world is...

While it is true that it is wrong to do some things (For instance, stealing stuff), reality supports that sometimes one has to resort to doing the wrong thing (stealing in this case) to do what is right (I dunno... Keeping one's kids from starving?).
