Now days, I wouldn't picture people in their underwear as a cure for stage fright. However, you have to get up there and remember a majority of people have some form of stage fright.

There's many people that share the same feeling that you do. You have dig deep and find that confidence in yourself. Because you are great and you are worth watching.

Besides, the fact that you are even willing to get up on stage before a crowd is an accomplishment in and of itself and it's something that you should feel proud of. Not many can do that and you can use that as motivation.

Do some breathing excercises, some motivational talk with yourself.

Hopefully this helps!
Good luck!

See hun, there's really not a way of getting over stage fright unless you face it.
You mostly have to go and do whatever you're doing and then you will realize how easy it was and that you should have known there wasn't anything be afraid of. I had to do a play and i was REALLY scared. But then the first time i got on the stage, it made me have fun and have a good time and it made it easier for me because i figured out there really wasn't anything to worry about.

Hope this helps! Good luck!

Start by KNOWING whatever you have to do "on stage" down cold. Whether singing, performing, acting, speaking, whatever - know it cold. "Butterflies" (nervousness) may come, but you control that by focusing on being in the moment. "Fright" means fear. There's no reason to fear. You're in control. You have the "audience" as your captive. Involve your audience by connecting and making purposeful contact with them. If none of that works for you, just think. "What's the worst that can happen?" If your answer isn't death or physical harm, learn from the experience and try again and again.

The only way to get over stage fright is to "just do it". Get out there, and do what you have to do. Don't give in to the fear.

By being good at what ever it is that you are going on the stage for! If it is music, then you are not going on stage to show what you know about music! That idea is open to criticism! Rather, you are going on stage to tell/play YOUR story to the audience with the music that you are playing! No one can tell your story, you only have to make them feel it in your playing!

The same is with a play, or what ever. If you know
what you are doing, sure of what you are saying,
then YOU control the audience. Too, you have to believe in yourself! No one will listen or believe in you if you do not believe in what you are playing or saying!

Before you go on stage, go to the woods and cut yourself a large piece of mistletoe. Hang it on the back of your skirt/pants, then, when you go on stage, before you start, turn around and tell the audience, before I go on I want you to know it is Christmas! Make sure they can see the mistletoe
covering your butt!

Rehearse whatever it is many times. This increases your familiarity with your content, removing the fear of messing up.

Then, visualize yourself reading/acting/whatever, and the audience applauding. This boosts your confidence.

Finally, create an affirmation such as "I will do great" and repeat it aloud in the mirror at least 20 times. This anchors the belief in your mind, which stops your brain from creating new fears.

all you need to do is look in the mirror and see wat u are doing. Once u realize that u dont look to bad u will get over it. The only reason u have stage fright is becauseu are self conscious about the way you look.

All I can tell you is that I always get nervous alot but once I get on the stage and start singing it all goes away like if I never was nervous.

Two shots of tequila, that's usually what worked for me. But some cities have a club that meets like twice a month called the Toastmasters. Check em out.

When I did plays in high school, I just let my vision go kind of fuzzy, out of focus, when I had to look at the audience. When I couldn't see any one person, it didn't bother me that there were 300 people watching me.
