That's not bad for anyone, especially a 12 year old. It depends on the college, but generally a score over 1000 is considered above average, and anything above 1200 considered exceptional.
The average SAT score for Duke students falls into that category.

It's not bad for a 12-year-old. Many people on here don't seem to know that the SAT scores have changed, though-- it's now out of 2400 instead of 1600. 1340 would be average for an older student taking the test, so you're in good shape if you're performing at an average rate at a young age.

For a 12 year old that's great. Even a lot of normal people would love that score. Plus, your score will get even higher as you go through high school. Keep studying, and keep it up!

It relies upon on what you opt for it for. possibly you're asking, when you consider which you opt for this information for stepping into college. no count in the experience that your score is stable or no longer would be counted on the specific college in which you have an interest. faculties frequently post the first rankings of scholars who've been admitted to the college or who attend the college. So this is optimal to envision those rankings of faculties that are of interest to you.
