The man is a great talent, orator, and polititian.

I cannot understand why some people are so afraid of this man.

Most conservatives don't know anything about him but they have been:

Calling him a muslim (who cares, ever hear of separation of church and state? And he is a CHRISTIAN anyway)

Refering to the fact that his name sounds like Osama like this is supposed to be a bad thing (it has no bearing on a real political arguement!!)

Refering to the fact that his middle name is Hussien (Once again, it is his middle name, he was given the name by his parents! Not relevent to any political arguement!!)

Please tell me why any of this matters when the man is a completely benevolent leader that wants and knows how to achieve what is best for this country!

Not knowing any facts about either candidate, and you were forced to place your vote who would you vote for:

Hussein Youseph or John Henry Anderson?

I understand that shabtownie- but I was making a point that ppl don't like things they are not familiar with, and the origins of his names both first middle and last, are from different origin than most other presidential candidates.
I agree Obama is a brilliant man, and the best candidate for the job by far, but I'm not the one you have to convince, I am just pointing out the obvious.

It matters because people in this country are terrified of terrorists and not only terrorists but muslims in general sense most Americans usually refer to all Muslims as terrorists anyway. So if his name sounds like the most wanted terrorist and anti-American person out there than people who know little about politics will see it and assume his religion is Islam and thus he MUST be a terrorist. Sadly this is the American way, racial stereotypes are horrible. All Muslims are not terrorists and Obama is not a Muslim anyway.

You are somewhat right..I don't agree with the Great portions, although he does speak well...As for his name, I think that America is not ready for anyone that sounds like a possible Muslim Terrorist..He is not christian either..He was educated in both Muslim and Catholic scholls, but has said he is non-practicing in any religion...It isn't the Religion that matter
If someone by the name of Hitler or Shmitler had been running for office during WW2, he would not have had a chance either.

I don't care what his name is.
Yes, he joined a Christain in church when he decided to become a politician.
I do care that he is a phony hypocrite who goes around saying the exact opposite of how he voted in office.
Obama is No more of a terrorist than the other Democrats running for president.
They are all equal terrorist supporters.

The USA is supposed to be the "No Spin Zone." Unfortunately the only place where the "spin stops here" is on the O'Reilly Factor.

i completely agree with you. people bring up the fact that his name sounds like osama because they can't find any real dirt on him. it shouldn't matter what his name is , as long as he's go in to be a great president, who cares.

He's a moderate, so I like him. He votes the issues, not the party. Glad he's not intimidated by Hilary Skank either. That woman is flat out demonic.

i would'nt care if his name was judas iscariot-what bugs me is that he hid the knowlegde of his middle name, his early upbringing and the true wealth of his family growing up.i hate spin doctors, don't try to sell me somebody, just present who you are and i'm pretty sure the rest of us can sort it out on our own...
