I don't think anyone in their right mind could be an ally to Chavez because you can tell by his rhetoric that he's a very troubled man. He doesn't speak for the true feelings of the Venezuelan people. But his allies consist of Ahmahdemajad of Iran, Kim Jong Ill of North Korea, Morales of Bolivia and our old buddy Fidel in Cuba. He clearly wants to be the next Castro on the world stage. Take his oil and he's just another rambling madman.
