How long was this? It may be a spirit that is glued to you and is close and wanting to tell you something important that you should know about yourself. Was there more of these whispers, does it continue? Yes I did experience it but it wasn't like that. Was the house blessed? If not you should. That is all, a spirit stuck to you, Don't know if it is of evil or not. Just bless the house with holy water, have a priest come to the house to look at the place.

in case you asked this question in faith and spirituality when you consider which you think of this is a ghost or spirit or something, then your way off and additionally you will in no way remedy the undertaking. have you ever had head trauma on a similar time as wrestling those days that could desire to in all hazard set off something like this. it may additionally be from drugs possibly or a psychological undertaking that is going on collectively with schizophrenia. See a doctor and notice what they say. that's extreme so do no longer leave it pass and then they could opt for to offer you a strategies test or inform you to work out a psychiatrist, looking on what they think of the reason being.

4% of the population hear voices, not necessarily all of them are ill, even those that are adjust to living with voices. The mind is capable of creating hallucinations that are completely real. Interestingly if you compare the hallucinations of religious zealots, artists and others who are blessed with visions they compare with images arising from lack of sleep or fasting.
As for the content of the word "barren" it could be that part of you has seen connections, recognised patterns not yet apparent. If you regularly hear voices and they trouble you - see your doctor, New treatments can be very effective. otherwise enjoy your "difference" who knows you could always start a new religion or make big bucks writing ghost stories

When I am drifting off to sleep, or try to sleep in a noisy room, I feel like I'm falling or shaking. It could be because you're in that state between sleep and awake. As was stated before, if you are trying to conceive, it may be a manifestation of your unconscious. It may be a manifestation of the unconscious anyway.
Then again, I am a believer in ghosts. (I've encountered enough of them). I hear voices saying my name, and saying other things too, and I'm not diagnosed with any kind of mental illness. Did it sound like your "voice" sounds when you think to yourself? If it doesn't recur, just brush it off as spooky and leave it be. It may be a ghost, it may be all in your head, it may be someone playing a trick on you. Don't let it get to you :o) Who knows, it may be someone from the beyond telling you that you'll be royalty one day! ;o)

You were probably dreaming on the edge of sleep.
however, when my dad died a year ago, we didn't get to his bedside in time before he died, and when we arrived, his spirit was gone; there was just a body there.
A week after he was buried, I went alone to visit the grave, and
I heard his voice , clear as a bell, say "Hello, Marie" as he always did. I was awake, there were people around , and I know what i heard.
Don't put too much into what you might have heard on the edge of a dream. Our subconcious does strange things to us, especally in dreams. Take it with a pinch of salt.

It was something called a 'hypnogogic dream'. It happens in that state in between sleeping and waking. You are not fully asleep but asleep enough to dream. You are not fully awake but awake enough to believe it really happened. This kind of thing can also happen during the day when you are deep in thought and your mind is in idle mode. It can seem a bit spooky but not when you know that basically it is your brain doodling.

I have never heard a clear distinct word before more like mumbling...and me and a friend heard a very very loud growl in our 80+ year old church. Very creepy.
Oh there is barren, like dry land, or inferitle, or baron, as a royal title like "he is Baron Smith"

Yes, I have heard my name spoken, and I've also felt cold wind brush across my face. It means the spirits are interacting with us. Nothing to be afraid of. If you want to know more, read a book or two by Sylvia Browne, the world-reknowned psychic. You'll learn a lot, and she's very enlightening.
