If you want to do something with makeup and/or hair you should go to a 4 year college. You will get better jobs and make a better living, and can ask for about 3x more than someone who doesn't have the experience. I go to North Carolina School of the Arts (NCSA), and the program is Wig and Makeup, you get your Bachelors in that. It's one of two offered in the country. The other college is CCM. It's the best bet for wanting to do something in that range.
Someone who was a aesthetician is now going to NCSA for graduate wig and makeup because they weren't satisfied with his job. Look into it.
