my knees hurt after i'm done running, doing leg workouts, or basically anyting involving my legs. i'm only 16. i went to a chiropractor and he said i have tendanitis due to my growing. is there anything that i can do to help them get better? also, after running, the bones in my lower legs (calves) hurt or are sore. i know it's not the muscle, it's the bone. what is with me?

Shin splints is painful but not long lasting. Take paracetamol and an anti-inflamatory (if you have no allergic reaction to them or asthma) and it should settle down.
To ease it from happening, warm up PROPERLY, and warm down FULLY as well.

The bone pain in the shins is called "shin splints".. The knee pain is becasue you're so very active and running is very hard on knees. You should make sure you stretch good before and after working out..warmup and cool down. You can ice them, or apply heat , or try Ibuproffen if they really hurt, but yo udont want to take that all the time.

It almost sounds like you have exactly what I have, patellofemoral syndrome. Its where your knee cap and femur scrape against eachother. It's common with high impact sports that apply alot of pressure (mines because I'm a goalie in hockey) go to physio, strengthen the muscles in your legs to better support your knee. See a doctor, they can perscribe medication that can help with the pain and inflammation.
