Each has it advantages but I like wireless because you can take it anywhere, in the house or when you go out.

Desktop and wireless can be the same thing. I have wireless internet access with my desktop machine, as well as the laptops in my household.
Did you mean desktop versus laptop? I do most of my serious work on my desktop. I find them more versatile in terms of upgrading (more memory, better video cards, better hard drives, etc). Laptops are portable and good for if you're on the go, but desktops are good stable everyday workhorses.

Well, since a Desktop has wireless capabilities, provided that it has a wireless adapter installed in it, I'd go for a desktop. However, if mobility is what you're referring to, I'd always prefer a wireless laptop.

Your question is poorly written. Are you asking if we prefer wired or wireless? A wired connection is faster and more secure than a wireless. Are you asking if we prefer a laptop or a desktop? Desktop is more powerful and cheaper plus easier and cheaper to fix but it is not portable.
