I have heard that rumor about 10 different times over the last 20 years. I'll believe it when I see it.

I sure as heck hope not. I-35 could not support the kind of traffic that would generate. It's not a likely place for a theme park although SA does have Fiesta and Sea World. I'm sure Disney is always looking at places to expand, but I would think closer to Houston or Dallas would be more realistic. Neither Austin or San Antonio has a very big airport either.

I originally heard this from my daughter's friend, but since I could not substantiate it, I didn't really think about it. But I was recently speaking to a real estate manager in the area, and he said that Disney has purchased land out by 90 and 211. I put a bit more stock in him, so I guess it's true. No talk of immediate development though.

That would be exciting like near San Marcos or Buda. There is plenty of land to expand and highways can always be built upon to become bigger. If it is near Schertz that would help boost the Seguin and I10 community. Plus it is on the way to Houston.

It is possible. Disney is always looking at ways to expand on its investor's profits, and real estate speculation might be one of those ways.
However, it is highly Unlikely that Disney will ever build another park in the US. Attendance is falling and they can't fill hotel rooms in Orlando, so any additional park will draw attendance from the two existing properties and impact profitability.
