During arguments, my boyfriend and I end up slapping and pushing each other, so finally -we are now in therapy. The therapist says that I tend to provoke physical violence toward myself because I psychologically crave to be punished or something like that. That was when I realized that whenever my boyfriend ever slaps me, I can't feel it at all. It will sting for a second and then I can't feel it.
Is there something physically wrong with me or is this a psychological problem?

And also, I also do believe my therapist isn't a very good one, but I don't really have the money to afford a better one. He's probably better than nothing right?

It could be, but your therapist won't know this answer. You may have to get a referral to a neurologist, or some other specialist to get your answer.

Good luck, and I'm glad you two aren't hitting each other anymore - not good for either one of you.

If you could not feel pain then your nerves wouldnt be working, If that was the case you wouldnt feel hot or cold eather. You wouldnt feel pain even if for a second. You couldnt feel anything if your nerves didnt work.... Its all or nothing...

You sound like a messed up girl. That's normal from my experience.
