I just bought a mac. My sister is in Iraq and we chat on yahoo. But I want to talk to her via computer while using the web cam. Is there a way to work this out without paying money?
Anyone know anything about ichat?

iChat will only work if you have an iSight webcam. If you have a USB webcam, I do not know of any software for the Mac that you can use to do what you want.
Assuming you do have an iSight, you can use iChat to video chat with other Mac users or with PC users. If your sister is using a PC, she just needs to have any AOL Instant Messenger client. If you and/or your sister do not already have an AOL Instant Messenger account, they are free to get and you do not have to be using AOL's internet service to get one.
It is possible to do a one-way video chat, where your sister can see you but you cannot see her, or a two-way video chat if she has a webcam that works with her computer and AOL IM client.
