I always match my eyes. It makes them look fuller, and i like that. It also can give the appearance of very beutiful eyes and who doesn't want that!

Well your foundation needs to be lighter than your skin in order to cover up freckles and moles, along with other skin imperfections. You can test the color out on your wrist to see if it blends in or if you can see a darker shade when you blend it in. For the eyes, usually two different colors, one base color like light pink or white, worn all over the eyelid up to your brows, and the other the color you want to wear, maybe brown or green, in the crease of the eyelid for shading. This usually will make your eyes pop and can be changed around to match the clothes you are wearing if you want to play around with it. A lot of people just find colors that they like for the eyes and wear them all the time, never changing their colors around. It is up to you which one you like best. Now the eyeliner should match the color of the shadow in the crease and it goes right above your lashes across your lid from inner to outer on the top and out to inner lid on the bottom. Then you apply the mascara top lashes first then the bottom. With the bottom lashes, just use the tip of the brush and work back and forth instead of up and down. Now we are ready for the blush. Apply this on your cheek bones from right in front of your ears down to the apples of your cheeks but never closer than two finger widths from your mouth. Then use your lip gloss in whatever color you prefer. It's really kind of hard to explain in writing. Some of it may sound sort of stupid and you may not understand what I wrote. I hope it was of some help to you anyway. The main idea is not to over-do the make up because it then covers your natural beauty and shows off just the colors of the make up, not you. Sort of like what clowns do. You could look in the phone book and see if there is a Merle Norman Studio nearby. They will put it on for you and show you how at the same time. If there is a Belk's store nearby, Clinique does the same thing too. Or you could look for someone who sells Mary Kay Cosmetics and have a one on one with a consultant. Good luck to you and whatever you do, have loads of fun!

you wear make-up that matches your complexion and makes your eyes pop. NEVER MATCH IT WITH YOUR OUTFIT!!!! you should find a daily make-up routine so that it's easier on you and your look is consistent and the clothes are the focus. there are make-up experts that can help you find make-up that flatters you. good luck. also, read magazines and look up the make-up stars are wearing. intyle has a make-up part in every issue you could look into.

I think it depends on the color of your eyes more than what you are wearing. I have dark brown eyes, and I use a dark silver for going out at night, and a light purple for everyday.

You can do both. What works best though it to use taupes and browns as your main colour and then a pop of colour as an accent. If you look at a colour wheel you can see what colours accent others. Opposites on the colour wheel is how it works.

you shoulnd't wear make up that matches your outfit, it looks cheesy and like you don't know anything about make up. I usually wear eye make up that compliments my skin tone, compliments my outfit, and my eyes lol.
