It helps the Lions. Dre Bly was a good player, but honestly, Detroit needs the help on o-line. Kevin Jones seems to get injured a lot, so Tatum Bell is a really good insurance policy, or a change of pace...This lets Detroit address other needs with their Draft and Free Agency.

This was a disgusting trade on the Lions' part!!! Dre Bly is an excellent cornerback, and to be traded for a RB from Denver? Any RB can look good in Denver!

I have a feeling Tatum Bell won't look as good as he did last season than in a Lions jersey next season.

Man, I am not sure who pulled this deal off, but this is terrible for the Lions. Granted Bly is a little older, but still one of the best in the business. The Lions only had a handful of play-makers on the team.............A couple on the D-Line, and Bly. Basically one-third of the play-makers are now gone.

Excellent deal for the Broncos. One of the worst deals I've ever seen Detroit make. Tatum Bell? Are you kidding? Dre Bly did not want to play in Det. but you could have gotten more for him.

It will help the Lions with Bell and Foster working togather. Defense will be worse (If thats possible) without Bly. Others will step up and the Lions will be a better team. The Broncos will be as well.

This deal was horrible for the Lions, but I believe Bly would have been a free agent next year (I'm not positive on that) and there is no way he would have resigned with Detroit. At least Millen got something for him.

i think millen made the deal because jones has a history of injuries, but i think denver got the better end of the deal for sure...bly will improve their pass defense drastically, and will make it impossible for quarterbacks to choose which corner to pick on...foster upgrades the lions' line, but he is not the big-time guy that they need so desperately to improve their dismal running game and protect jon kitna

bly is basically a replacement for Darrent Williams, and as far as Tatum Bell goes, for him its like getting stuck with an ugly lab partner.

Any player is replaceable. Bly is a great talent and again anybody can be replaced but...................................... finding an upgrade over BLY will be like pulling teeth
