just a couple of days ago he told me that his friends keep callin him to go out clubbing on the weekend (guys night out) later on...come to find out HE was the one asking all his buddies to hit the club with him. whats up with him? why does he lie about stupid things like that?

Trying to figure out why people do what they do will drive you crazy. The problem with lying is that you don't know what you don't know. He could be lying about 20 other things you don't know about. It's going to be impossible to have a solid relationship without trust. But I know that some people crave drama in their lives, and chasing down a liar is drama. The question for you is: is this how you want to live your life?

I would break up with him bcuz if he lies to you about the small things, he may be lying to you about the big things. First talk to him and tell him that you do not appreciate that bcuz it makes you not trust him. Best of luck!

Kick him to the curb. He is trouble. Honesty is an absolutely must have in a successful relationship. He feels inferior and is looking for false pride.

A liar is a liar. I would distance myself from him before you get more involved, get married, have kids, and find out that there are more important things he has lied about and you feel trapped.

hes insecure and wants to impress YOU. Either think its cute or lame, your choice. Why is he so into hitting the club when hes got a shortie at home? be cautious of that.
