never complain about discrimination and wil admit that people make thier own destiny
then the hispanics or blacks on welfare ,very poor, or in prison will tell you they are basically still living in slave times
which opinion would you trust more
and how come asians rarley if ever complain about discrimination
isn't caliing discrimination all the time just using an easy scapegoat,,WHITE PEOPLE, becuase nobosy will ever challenge it
whenever a hispanic or balck loses a job in a white heavy workplace for a poor job like a waitress,,,,,9 out of 10 of the times the race card is pulled,,,,I know becuase I used to manage a diner

Where do you get your statistics? You're pulling the "race card" yourself by saying these things about blacks and hispanics as if you know anything about the lives of blacks and hispanics.
To answer your question: Discrimination does exist, I'm tired of people pretending that it doesn't. There's not much to be done about discrimination. The blacks and hispanics who succeed do realize that there is discrimination and they realize that they have to try harder than other people. The difference is they actually attempt it, and they succeed whereas other people give up and are lazy and dependent.
I find that Asians assimilate more than other minority groups, which is why they never complain about discrimination. Also, their ancestors weren't brought over in slave ships and forced to do free labor for centuries and I don't think the whole Civil Rights thing affected them as much.
I'm glad that you think that because you managed a diner, that's how things are everywhere.
I wish people like you would stop judging people! Don't you realize that this is why blacks play "the race card" in the first place? You're doing the same thing!

maybe because your mind is small and you see what you want to see, WHITE people are poor to, I don't know if you look at the news I'm black, I live in a $200,000 home, drive a Lexus 470, and a Mercedes, my point is, stop trying to put other races down, your no better than no one else, people are poor and they come in all colors, so wake up, they are more whites on welfare than anybody. That is why this country will never be nothing because of people like you, and i feel so sorry for people who hate a nother human being because of color, SAD I DON'T THINK YOU ARE RACIST, BUT YOU SURE HAVE A LOT OF HATE IN YOU, THATS MY POINT ALL BLACKS ARE NOT THE SAME, SO DON'T PUT EVERYONE IN THE SAME WAY, THERE ARE LAZYE BLACKS AS WELL AS WHITE,

What lies are you listening to? Most blacks that come from indigent communities and are successful do "complain" about discrimination. Why do you assume that every time a black person talks about racism or makes a complaint it is unmerited? You obviously don't know many black people or maybe they don't talk to you about such things, but you are quite ignorant to ask this question.
You need to get out and talk to some black people who come from the slums. I'm talking about people who were a part of the slums and not people who were kept in the house. You would see that your argument about successful people never complaining about discrimination is pure myth and no where near reality.
The reason you may not hear it is because I don't talk about these things with white people for the simple reason that they turn a blind eye to whatever you say. So I talk with my people about my hardships. Would you tell a person your son died, if their only going to say, "it happens" to you, trampling over your troubles as nothing. Would you think that was a heartless response? Other people don't say it, but I do think you're racist. And that's probably why you don't hear their complaints because of your attitude. And that's "No Bs."

Well, generally if the system worked for you, you'd think, ...
But actually lots of people who've succeeded HAVE complained about discrimination.
The truth is there is a two edge problem
1) The class problem; i.e, wealthy tend to stay wealthy. Poverty related stuff like poor education with no funding etc, is part of this.
2) There is some dicrimination.
Some may try to argue other factors assuming all things were equal. Not easy to do tho.

nicely, truly some human beings will continually stereotype you for some thing you're or no longer. it really is in simple terms the cruel truth of life, and in case you do not view your self that way then there is not any favor to grant your self a headache about it. as well there'll continually be some gem stones accessible that couldn't see you as a stereotype yet someone, so in simple terms be you and each thing else will fall into position.

I agree with the educated black people (as I'm black myself) that you make your own destiny .The one's who still are living in the ghetto probably dropped out of high school and didn't even attempt to go to college it's ridicoulus . I don't think he was trying to put any one down it's the truth he said the blacks that live in the ghetto and if your driving a Lexus and a Mercedes most likely you don't live in the ghetto it's just as simple as this if you don't want to live in the ghetto anymore actually stay in school and go to college's (there's alway's student loans if your broke) and buy your mother a gorgeous lexus that's a great payment as to all the stuff you put her through

O.k., I see your point and agree with it to an extent. Morgan Freeman (a black actor) said it best when he told people magazine that organizations such as the United ***** College, Ebony Black Magazine, Black History Month and the Black Movie Awards were rediculous! He said that blacks worked for decades to be "equal" to whites. Then, then when they got what they wanted they started separating themselves again! As for the hispanics, the ones that live in my county are all hard workers. I actually don't know any that are on welfare. What burns me more then anything are these single white females who have twenty kids, are on welfare, get free food, free education, free everything! And they still can't get out of poverty! Whats wrong with that picture?

Because the ones that are successful in life WORKED for it, they didn't want or ask for handouts, you see , they didn't pull the race card because they were determined to be successful, therefore, the lazy ones that are still in the ghetto collecting welfare, selling drugs, or whatever, are still complaining about something that they can clearly change; their life.

Some people give up and instead of admitting that they just don't want to try anymore. They delude themselves into believing that they are trying enough and the reason nothing has happened is because of someone else(usually the white man).......They've got to pick someone to be angry at ..when they should be angry at themselves..
