Right now its Nas " Hip Hop Is Dead" but that is my opinion. The lyrical content is good. If you are beat orientated pretty much anyone from the south(Atl or Texas) right now are hot. T. I. Ludacris.... UGK are about tho drop a double cd which should no doubt debut in the top 10. If you are talking best ever. Any of 2pac first albums, Nas - "Illmatic" , Public Enemy " It Takes A Nation of Million To Hold Us Back" UGk "Ridin Dirty" and Jay Z' s " Reasonable Doubt" are some of the favorites in my library

At the moment, "Hip Hop Is Dead" by Nas. The best hip hop album ever? "Midnight Marauders" by A Tribe Called Quest, at least in my opinion. I can still listen to that CD from beginning to end without skipping tracks, plus, it's a classic. :)
