I relize that the Pats cant win every year but I mean seriously with 31 mill in cap room and with history suggesting that the pats wont pay freeagents to come play for them, why not resign daniel graham. It almost like the patriots want to see how bad they can make their team while still making the playoffs.

I think the patriots will use the free agency period this year to fill some holes. Mainly linebacker and and a 2nd back to back up maroney. Free Agency doesnt start till this Friday i believe so no team has done anything yet, at least in free agency.

No no no.... The pats let Daniel Graham go because we still will have great TEs. Ben Watson, who led the team in receptions and the GREAT rookie now experianced David Thomas.

Dont worry, Bellichick, Piolli, and Kraft have something up their sleeves this offseason. They will get one if not two of the big name recivers for Brady in FA such as Donte Stallworth, Randy Moss, or Joe Horn....

Oh yeah dont forget about the great LBs out in FA for our defense. Such as Donnie Edwards, Londan Flether, Lavar Arrington, Adalius Thomas, etc....

......And RBs to back up Maroney such as Jamal Lewis, Dominic Rhods, or even maybe Willis McGahee!!!!!!!!!

Watch out for the PATS NEXT YEAR!!

Obviously the Pats made a mistake last season by not improving their receiving core, AND letting Vinatieri go. They had so much CA$H!

I think Belichick and the GM learned from their mistakes and will probably spend more of that money in this upcoming FA pool.

Because, the Pats realize the secret to success is minding the cap and drafting smart. Their frugality, discipline, and excellent drafting have made them what they are. And that's coming from a Bills fan. Luckily, it seems we're taking some pages from their book...

TRUST YOUR COACH! expect him 2 fill needs thru the draft and make a run for some of the talented wideouts thaht are availible. I see Eric Moulds going to NE or them making a trade for MOSS. But they knowthey must retool 2 beat the colts. But againi they will meet their needs in the draft where the coach and GM are masters

They only have one gap WR let me repeat that WR
if they get Randy Moss we will bring another title back to the great region of New England.

Agressive boy who do you like?
and don't give me s**t about the Colts and Manning. Have teams switch receivers and you will see who's better

Because they know that you can't win championships by building your team through free agency, you draft and train your younger players.

They may be looking for the right kind of person or saving it for key contract renewals when they become 'due'.
